Our Story

Rooted in Temperance Since 1919

For over a century, our family has worked this Michigan land — planting seeds, harvesting crops, and building lasting relationships with our community. What started as a modest family farm has grown into a beloved local destination.

We grow seasonal produce, lavender, and Christmas trees with the same care and respect for the land that our family brought in 1919. Every plant we grow, every bundle we tie, and every tree we cut comes with a little piece of our family's story.

Our Lavender Varieties

We grow six varieties of lavender at Tucker Farms, each with its own unique character, fragrance, and uses. Two of our varieties are culinary-grade, perfect for cooking and baking.

Munstead lavender

True to its name, Sensational! is a showstopper. This hardy variety produces abundant silvery-blue stems topped with rich violet-blue blooms. It's exceptionally cold-hardy for Michigan winters and one of the most fragrant lavenders we grow — perfect for bouquets and dried arrangements.
